The conference may end Saturday but stay one more day and visit Passive House buildings in Heidelberg and the surrounding area on Sunday, May 5!
All excursions include a guided tour with English translation and lunch.

Discover one of the largest Passive House districts in the world! We will begin at the central station, which is only a stone's throw away from the Bahnstadt, and go by foot to explore the residential and non-residential buildings of the Passive House district. Please store your luggage in one of the lockers available in the station if you do not wish to carry it with you.
A return to Heidelberg central station is possible at any time, the tour ends at 2:00 pm.

We will visit the Stadtwerke Heidelberg’s ‘energy park’, which supplies the city’s district heating. Our stops include a wood-fired power plant, the construction site of the energy and future storage system and a biomethane plant. We will also visit a school complex, a kindergarten and an apartment building.
Return: about 5:00 pm to the central train station.

In Heidelberg’s North we’ll visit an office building as well as a multi-storey residential building. In addition, we’ll visit a hotel and Passive House terraced houses.
