The Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB) is upon us and by the end of 2020 all new buildings in Europe will be an NZEB. This session will delve into the details of how Passive House buildings meet the NZEB requirements across Europe.
The presentations will investigate a variety of different building types and climatic zones and demonstrate how Passive House buildings can reach the NZEB standard in each of the cases. NZEB standards vary from country to country and examples from Bulgaria, the UK, Austria and Italy will be presented and show how the features of Passive House buildings allow them to meet varying NZEB guidelines across these diverse nations and climatic areas.
